Week 29: Weakness

A large weakness of mine is having things happen that are out of my control. Not everyday little things. But bigger plan things really do take a toll on me. We were planning to take our first real vacation in a few years. But the universe chose differently and our washer drain backed up causing our second story laundry room to flood to the downstairs living room. Before we knew it we had water damage and a team of people removing our ceiling. So I gathered these 3 sweet souls and took them out to take pictures. Just to find some bliss among my frustration.

Week 28:Silly

Not a perfect shot (poor boys lost their piggies) but these two brothers are so silly and so very fast, I just have to choose my battles when I catch them together!

Catching up and instagram

Ok time to catch up. We have been trying our best to keep the kids busy during the Summer so far. We have been doing little day trips and going to the movies, etc. We celebrated Father's Day and Fuad got a lot of Doctor who goodies from the kids. We got to spend the day with my parents which we always enjoy.

On a down note that also means the kids are getting up to all sorts of stupid things. One of the stupid things was trying to jump over the step into the living room. They all seemed to manage it easily, so despite my attempts at asking them to go outside to jump, Rebecca laid down so Rory could try and jump over her. Bad idea. Rory stuck the landing on her arm and now she is in a cast. Sheesh. Summer means no kitchen work while the kids play free it seems. someone always gets hurt! Rebecca loves that she has a pink cast, and that I did the same at her age. Grandpa Jack has really been spoiling her with love too, which she adores too!

Other side notes are that Henry our hamster died. We buried him in the woods with the kids. Fuad got a raise at work which is always wonderful news. And that pretty much wraps it up for us here. Here is a recent instagram dump for you all! (Nanny) And Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July!
