52 week project, week 5

5/52: Finding the light

 

 

For this week I had something completely different in mind, again. However I fell in love with this picture for 2 reasons. The first being that I had a perfect view of pink bunny, Rebecca's favorite lovey that her older brothers bought her as a welcome present. And the second was that I love how the light looked in this shot. On an unrelated note, I signed Becca up for preschool come Fall. She will go 3 days a week. It begins. The craziest thing is that she is so excited!!! And I am just trying to enjoy all these sweet moments before they slip away and become memories.

4/52- A different perspective

 

I will be honest, I am just making it in under the wire this week. Things were a bit hectic this week. and I am by no means in love with this shot. But out of all of them, I kept coming back to this one.  I think I love the simplicity of the moment.

When we can't have snow

Last night we kept hearing that we would be expecting snow. The kids were pumped! Then morning came....nothing. So I fixed up a bubble bath in the big tub, and told them to have at it! Hours of fun, no snow boots required!

Rebecca really lights up when she sees her Grandpa, it's very rare the bond these 2 have and I hope she will remember these moments forever. Grandparents are such a wonderful part of family, and I am glad my kids will have loving memories with their grandparents like I have with mine!

52 week project: This is our life

I joined in again this year for a photography 52 week project. You can check it out Here.
 Each week we are given a theme to sort of go with. I love this year because it is lifestyle based, which means my family does not even need to stop what they are doing. I will try my best to post here each week so that my family can see them as well. Since I am sure not many use flickr. So here are the first 2 weeks.
