Father's Day suprises

We had a suprise visit from little red riding hood to kick the day off...

She happened along lots of fun adventures on the way.
and found a new family beginning, right in our own back yard! Happy Father's Day everyone!

A new coat...

New coat of paint for the kitchen, that is! We decided to say goodbye to the overwhelmingly bright yellow kitchen,there are just too many windows and it was far too bright. we decided to spend absolutely no money at ALL, and use some of the leftover paint from the master bedroom. We both Love the silver/green color in our room,and since it was a free switch,went with it! SOO much better.

How I spent my 1st day of summer break

Today was our first day of summer break all together. Rory finished school last week, but Dakota just finished on Thursday. They both did so great in school this past year, and we can't wait to see them as they learn and grow again next school year. In the meantime we took it easy today, and just kind of slummed around at home mostly. We did go to the park to celebrate Savannah's 6th birthday and enjoy playing and talking with friends. But for the rest of the day... well, the pictures speak for themselves!
