Lost for words...

I am having a hard time with this. Of all my siblings,I think I spent most of the family vacation times with my stepsister Terry, and her 3 boys Dakota,Alex and Zach. I loved going to visit them! Then in June, Zach and Alex passed away.Only 17 years old! It was so hard to hear, it was so hard for Terry! Now only nine months later Dakota is gone too! My heart feels so heavy. I want so badly to take away my family's pain. To give my sister a hug, help her through this. I hope she can find some peace on earth,knowing that her boys are in heaven,together again. I hope she can overcome this and know that one day she too will see her babies again! I Love you Dakota,Zach, Alex,and Terry. A piece of my heart is always with you.

The Edible Easter Bunny

I decided this was the year I would attempt to make MY OWN Easter bunnies for the kiddos! I got this awesome candy mold from this little online store and it finally arrived today. I took it for a test drive this afternoon...it turned out even cuter then I thought it would!!! LOVE IT!

Finally...SPRING

So happy that spring is finally here. It seemed like winter dragged on forever here! The kids were out all day yesterday, and somehow my fair Irish self actually got a sunburn!! WTH?? Oh well, it's all good. If it comes along with sunny days in the 70's I'll take it!

Happy Birthday Becca!

Rebecca had her first birthday on March 10th and we celebrated by having dinner together,and enjoying lots of cupcakes. Her actual party will be on Saturday, so more pictures to come. For now, one girl and her cupcake!

I wanna ride

We finally got Dakota all kitted out with knee and wrist pads,and said goodbye to training wheels for GOOD! He is an excellent reader,and a witty boy. But my sweet boy has next to NO BALANCE! He got frustrated at first,but soon got the hang of it. Fuad was out for most of the day yesterday practicing with Kota. While we sat by and cheered him on. Before I know it Dakota will be zipping through the neighborhood nonstop!

We've got game

This weekend was beautiful! A little chilly, but the sun was out and it soon warmed up. Dakota got some of his friends together and had a blast playing basketball for well over an hour! They had a blast. I cannot wait until spring so we can all be out more.
