Amazing 8

Ok, I know, there are still 9 days until Dakota turns eight, but today was a cool and slightly overcast day so as always we took pictures early. We cannot say enough about the amazing, compassionate, and silly boy that is our oldest son. Dakota is amazing outside and in and we are proud of the young man he is! He is still into spiderman and Batman, and loves to read and play games. We wish our sweet boy another great year and lots of love along the way!

Baseball camp and random pictures

Dakota went to a baseball camp for 1 week and learned the basics before the Fall season. He said he loved everything about it, except for that he sweat so much! Sweet boy. It was actually only really bad the first half of the week. along with the rest of the country! Dakota is so athletic, and so we are trying to get him to try as much as we can, as early as we can.

These are just some random pictures. you will notice that Rory is no where to be found. between his allergies and therapy,he has told me he" does not want to be with the camera right now." Ok, you are the boss Rory. He really is working his butt of with the therapists! Anyhow, here are a couple of Rebecca being sassy and telling me she will NOT have a hair clip in, and then later on in the day coloring and sleeping. Lastly, there is sweet Dakota who will be 8 in less then a month.... the time is going by alright!

Rory lost his first tooth

Rory got a visit from the tooth fairy las night! That's right, our sweet little 5 1/2 year old lost his first tooth. It has been wiggly for a month or more. And just like Dakota, he was content to wait for it to just "fall out." Or for mommy to ask to look at it all wiggly and pluck it out! He was so happy and got $1.25 from the tooth fairy that is already burning a hole in his pocket!!!
