The time just flies

We cannot believe how the time has just flown since we moved here! Rory is now rocking the hoodie Dakota took pictures in shortly after we met our neighbor/ photographer! We have a sweet and sassy little girl in the mix now, and our family is just wonderfully complete! Here are a couple of side by sides of how time up here has passed us by! More to come soon! :)

Rory's room....making progress

Rory's room was chaos before. It was a powder blue, and he has a huge window that lets so much light. He decided one day that he wanted to tear some drywall off the wall!!! This is what prompted us to change his room around.

My little pumpkins

I still need to take Dakota's pictures, but with school,homework and soccer there just aren't enough hours in the day with his schedule! Lucky I have the 2 younger ones at home with me for some of the morning. I feel bad that my kids get pictures taken so often as I try and self-teach my way in to the world of Manual photography. But I do not like relying on my camera to figure out lighting and all on it's own. It gets it wrong sometimes! So these are some pictures I took of Rory and Rebecca with their pumpkins! We are so happy that the Fall season is upon us!

Sunday with family

We spent the day with Fuad's parents today and had alot of fun. Fuad and his dad took the boys on a hike to go and search for gold and treasure! And us ladies sat on the front porch and played with Rebecca. It was a nice relaxing time and we are happy they are able to be here to visit with us!

Welcoming Fall

The air is nice and cool and the Carrera's have been out in full force to enjoy it! I have not done much updating recently,my bad. Fuad is still working hard,and trying for a higher position at work. We are VERY PROUD of him because he was also nominated for employee of the year!
Dakota is doing well in school. He is reading everything he can and is also playing soccer now. Which he is amazingly good at. His first game he scored 3 goals. Second Game 1 goal. And Yesterday he made 2 goals. Dakota got to go to yesterdays game with Grandpa,and he was thrilled about it!
Rory is talking more and more everyday. He is still having some sleep issues which we are working on. He and Rebecca are beginning to play really well together! Rory is still my wild child and cares very deeply for his brother and sister. We went to a DAN doctor recently, and are working on Rory's diet to see if it will help him some.
Finally, Rebecca and I are just happy to have our "girl time" back! I really enjoy that I have the chance to stay home and work with my children, and take part in all the little things we do together. Rebecca is by far my most emotional child. She is also a very silly little girl! Her and Dakota are a couple of clowns when they get together and they make Rory laugh till he has hiccups. We are all enjoying the fall season so far,and hope all our friends and family are all doing well.
