Playtime with daddy

I caught Dakota and Fuad playing catch in the backyard yesterday. Dakota is doing really well with his hand/eye coordination. Fuad and Dakota will be out playing catch more and more as the weather warms up. Rory will occasionally get in on the game, but still struggles with the "Catch" end. I love to sit and watch daddy and the boys have so much fun together!

Rory's Haircut...

I finally broke down and cut Rory's hair. I have to say, I don't even recognize him @ first! I have seen him with his long curls for about 2 years now....it's strange to see his hair short. He looks so much older now! We are of course going to let it grow out again. So this is Rory's before and after!

Hooray for Rory!

Yay for Rory, he went #2 on the potty all on his own! My little boy was so proud of himself afterward! He did a little dance,and enjoyed his candy hearts as a reward! Lets hope we can keep it up!

Baby Shower!

I had the most wonderful baby shower yesterday! I want to thank all those who had a hand in putting it together, I can't even express how much it meant to me! I love and cherish all the friends I have made here, and the family I have...you are all just awesome. Anyway, we had a great time. There was so much food my head was spinning! I got sooo spoiled! I can't wait to see Rebecca and hold her in my arms finally. This was a great distraction from thinking of all that though, I got to just spend time with everyone and have fun! I love you all!

Valentine's Day 2009

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! We finished up Fuad's Card that the boys made for him, just in time too! Dakota was mainly in charge. He took care of choosing the pictures, writing his and Rory's name by their handprints and did all the cutting and paisting(because now he is an "espert" at it) all I really got to do was oversee the fingerpaint.

Brotherly Love

I was taking some pictures of the baby's room this evening,and I caught the boys being so sweet to each other... I love when I catch them in a moment. They play so well together and lucky for me they are very careful not to hurt each others' feelings. I hope they love their little sister just as much.

Random Fun

Well, we are gearing up for Valentine's Day. Everyone in Dakota's class had to make either a bag or a box of some kind to exchange valentine cards. Well, once I began looking around I realized that Valentine's Day is for GIRLS!!! Long story short I finally opted for a tresure chest box that we painted white and red,and stuck some hearts on it. I tried to keep it on the manly side....as much as you can for a boy. Then we decided to make some M&M bars. The kids enjoyed licking everything off,as usual. All in all,it was a good way to spend a Monday,and gives me an excuse to snap some pictures of my kiddos!
