Sibling relationships is one of the sweetest types there are. Our kids all look out for one another, and care about each other. It is a very sweet and genuine love they have now, that I hope will carry into adulthood!
I did not want to skip out on Rory just because he chose to color inside. While Becca and Dakota drew out front with the chalk, Rory made up a story called 'flippity Rory.' I was not allowed to see it since Rory said I had to wait for him to read it to me. But I snuck around into the kitchen and caught a shot of it over his shoulder!
All 3 kids got baptized into the Catholic church today, and it was a wonderful and simple event. We chose to do it privately after mass to make it easier on Rory. The kids were so sweet! We are blessed to have such wonderful children, and such amazing neighbors that were overjoyed to be the kids godparents. Here are some pictures for the family to enjoy.
Adventure is out there! I think of that line every time I turn a corner and find a fort erected in some part of the house. This particular fort was actually a fishing boat. the boys cast their lines and then went into the 'cabin' to get a little rest (aka- giggle uncontrollably) I love the summertime!
Happy Independence Day! I had actually wanted to get all the kids with their sparklers, but between the unrelenting rains here and our boys having cabin fever, this is all I got!
