52 week project, Week 12

                          Week 12: Emotive

 

I took Rebecca to the local peach orchard to take some pictures. Tomorrow is technically Spring, but tomorrow is cloudy and yucky. Since she loves the camera so much, we were only there about 10 min. I told her she could make one last silly face before we left...She gave me this face of sheer frustration instead!

Week 11: Play

 

 

As soon as Rory gets home from school he runs off the bus straight into the playroom to enjoy a bit of play time before therapy starts. I love to see where his imagination will take him!

Week 10: Changes

 

 

This will hopefully be the last picture from Becca's Birthday! Promise! I could not resist using our little girl as the subject of this weeks project. "Changes" seemed so fitting for this week. And I love the sweet look of excitement on her little face!

Rebecca's Mad about Madeline 4th Birthday

Our Rebecca turned 4 years old today, and we got to celebrate with lots of friends and family. We decked the house out in Primary colors to go along with the Madeline theme. I made Bows for the girls to wear, and a sweet 'feed the bone to genivieve' game I saw on Pintrest. If only it came with a template I could have saved myself ALOT of time. But the kids all enjoyed it so it was great! I also made some Madeline hat chocolate candys for the guests to take home and enjoy.

The kids all jumped their hearts out on the bounce house, which was one of the best things we have ever purchased! And had fun playing tag as well. It was a great day and we are so thankful to everyone who came and made it a special day for our sweet girl. We adore you all!

 

 

 

Look who's 4

Here she is, our almost 4 year old daughter Rebecca Erin! Just one short week to go! I took her out for pictures and it was a beautiful evening. Rebecca was in an amazing mood, and it was so nice to get out and be super silly with my little one! Here are a few of my favorites...

  

 

We love our little girl. And these pictures captured her personality perfect. Rebecca has loved the camera since day one, and loves to laugh. She is very petite and girly. But when she picked out this girly little outfit to wear, she insisted she also wear a pair of sandals that used to be Rory's. Some of her nicknames are Becca boo, or Becca bug. She is obsessed with the color purple, everything frilly,and unicorns! (or as she calls them, "municorns".) Rebecca is a great little girl,and is just so loving! Fuad and I often say that she reminds us of Dakota at almost every stage,but in girl form. She is just so silly and giggly. Could not have wished for a better daughter.

Week 9: Out of the shadows

 

We all got together at my parents for National read across America day to read some books and spend some time together. Fuad and Dakota paired up and I could not resist catching a few sweet moments!!! Not a perfect shot, but so sweet to see these two enjoying time reading. Not even sure what book it was, but Dakota was so into it!
