Memorial weekend and the last day of school, part 1
Over the Memorial weekend we went swimming a few times (except for Rebecca, who is still mighty afraid of the water) and played in the woods, and just enjoyed random silliness throughout the house. Today was also the last day of school for Rory! He is officially off to Kindergarten in the fall! It is a bit tricky having 2 kids finishing school on 2 different days. I wanted to do a little something special, but nothing big since I still have 2 more days of waking up early ahead, I am not ready to pull out the full celebrations! So I made Rory a few of the chocolate graduation caps from Bakerella, and we made some balloon animals to play with. Then Thursday we will have the offical welcome to summer with Fuad when he gets home. I am so excited to have the kids home with me and to be able to enjoy all my babes together.

Mia Familia
We have had a busy week or so, and I did not want to forget to post until the beginning of Summer break, because there is sure to be more coming about the last day of school. So for now, here is what has been happening. First off, we had a great mother's Day. I got to spend time with my wonderful mom a couple days early, and we had a great time! Then this past weekend we went to the Italian Festival at our local church. The boys got to bounce their hearts out and Rebecca and I enjoyed the music and dancing. Lastly today we went to the dairy barn for the annual special needs spring fling. It was so wonderful. Rory rode a horse for the first time EVER! Rebecca got her face painted and we enjoyed lots of games and music. I cannot wait for Summer break this year, it is bound to be full of fun!

Tea time for Mom
This morning I went to Rory's Preschool for a Mother's Day Tea party. It was the sweetest thing EVER!!! Rebecca and I got to the classroom and Rory's teacher opened the door and he had a corsage that he put onto my wrist, and then led us to our seats where we had tea and cupcakes and flowers waiting! I teared up a few times because my baby boy is so grown up now,and he is such a wonderful person! We had a fun filled morning and made some fun memories.

Dakota the Great
This weekend I took some time to hang out with Dakota. We played some games, took some pictures, hung out and had a ton of laughs! I am usually so busy that I feel like our quality time gets put on the back burner. Dakota, for the most part, always does as he should and we know that and are very proud of being a good example for his younger siblings. Dakota had some artwork that was selected to show in a little art show for our district. He was extremely proud! So we went and enjoyed some yummies and looked at all the artwork on Friday evening. Then Saturday we all did the Riverwalk and then Kota and I went to a few shops, took some pictures, and enjoyed each others company. He really is a fun kid,and we would not want him any other way!

Drop it like it's hot
So in the last post I wrote about Fuad and all his hard work to drop some lbs. Well here is a before and after so you can see How great he looks too!
Infections and such
So Rory has been battling this sinus infection non-stop for about a week now. When I say battling I mean sleeping around the clock because he feels like crap. Poor kid. He had enough strength to go to a birthday yesterday, but not for much else. So hopefully his antibiotics will start working and he can beat this thing. We are not used to seeing Rory look so pitiful all the time! In other news we have just under a month until school is out for the year, so I have been trying to get some things done before I have a house full of cute Carrera monsters to entertain. Dakota is very excited for Summer, and for tomorrow because his artwork was selected for something or other and the springs complex has invited us to a reception for the kids who were chosen. He is very proud to say the least. Rebecca is alot more into reading lately, she sits and looks at books with me for hours. It is wonderful! Fuad is still steady dropping weight and is down to 206!!!! I am so proud of him he looks great. Other then that it is just buisness as usual here. I am sure there will be more posts as the month comes to an end.
