Thank you Mema

The boys want to say a big thank you to their Mema! They LOVE the Lincoln logs! Things have been a bit mad here with 3 kids...2 of them on summer break. I think we are starting to reach that point when the boys are ready to start school again. good thing we do not have much longer to go. I know Rory wants it. as much as he has enjoyed the freedoms of summer it is now wearing on him. But just because we spent money to go to monkey Joe's one day does not mean we can do it every week. It is sad, but such is life!

Little girls get bigger everyday

Do not worry, I won't be recounting songs from Gigi or anything. But Rebecca is getting bigger all the time! Earlier in the week (Tuesday I think) Rebecca was napping. Next thing I know I hear *THUD* followed by screaming! It was Rebecca,she had tried to climb out of her crib and flipped out...again. Since I already dropped the bed as low as I could I decided she must be ready to sleep in the transition bed. It is safer then her falling out again anyway! She has done GREAT!!! I admit I cried that first night. She did not fight,or whine, or anything! I mean she isn't even 18 months. But I suppose I was the same way at her age. She is now on day 3 and loving it! And I am proud of her,even if it is all happening so fast.

Hairstylings...

Rebecca's hair is nearly, that's NEARLY long enough to start styling. Oh I have waited for the day! My mom knows what I am talking about!!! So I just tried out some basic pigtails, to try and see how she did with it to start. She is such a girlie girl though, she KNOWS she looks cute. Thing is he hair is so fine... But we will have lots of fun as the years go on. Rebecca is getting so big and is talking up a storm. she is a little lady already, blowing kisses and singing her heart out in her toy microphone. She loves to color and dance. (possibly my little ballerina?) And Rebecca loves to try and keep up with her brothers. She even tries wrestling with them at times! No matter what she is a wonderful bubbly little girl, and we all love her so much.

4th of july fun

Happy Independence day! We cheated and celebrated our 4th with the family a day early. Since some had to go to work Monday. We had lots of fun,and tons of good food like macaroni salad,grilled chicken,and blueberry lemonade! We are still stuffed,and the kids enjoyed watching some fireworks last night. And are very anxious waiting for tonights! Hope all our friends and family have a wonderful 4th of July, no matter where you are,we love you.
