Rebecca's 3rd birthday pictures

Rebecca's 3rd birthday pictures got taken a bit early this year, because along with most of the country we have had one hell of a strange winter! I did not want to push our luck so we got out and took them earlier this month since we had some days with 65 degrees. I cannot believe how fast the time has flown with our little lady. She has become a very silly and opinionated little girl. Rebecca LOVES her Lalaloopsy dolls, and anything to do with strawberry shortcake. She is also a big fan of Jake and the neverland pirates, and the circus. We all adore our sweet girl, and are so happy she is part of the Carrera gang!

Lovely moments

Well this year our poor little Rory was home sick on Valentine's Day. He was feeling ok for the most part, but had a fever the night before so we did not want to risk sending him to school. He did sit and relax for most of the day with Becca and watched some movies while I made some goodies for when Kota got home. By the time Dakota got here, the younger 2 were out of their minds with excitement! We enjoyed the snacks together and then when Fuad got home we all went out to dinner. Yes ,we took a slightly sick Rory out to dinner, but it went great! I love my family so much, and try to celebrate them everyday. Hope everyone enjoyed their day and spent time with people they love as well.

A few updates

Ok, lots have been happening here at the Carrera home. Rebecca is now a big girl and has graduated out of diapers. (Aside from the overnight, but she is not yet 3.) She is looking forward to turning 3 next month though! Rebecca is growing into a very strong willed and silly little girl!

Rory has completed 2 weeks of ABA therapy now, and it is getting intense. He gets off the bus at 11:00 am and starts therapy from 11:30 am-2:30 pm. He is doing very well for the most part. We are working on some target behavior issues, and gearing Rory to become more compliant and a bit less Stimmy. Right now he still does alot of "self chatter" But we are confident that he will learn to control it in time.

Dakota is working hard in school and still loves reading writing and imagining. He has been a huge help to us with taking on a few chores, and of course continues to be his silly self! He is growing up too fast though. I snuggled with him this morning while we watched Lord of the Rings and he was reassuring me not to be scared because it was just fake....He is a sweetheart.

Fuad is working hard at work and at home, and is getting really good with guitar practice. I wish he would make a little more time for himself to enjoy playing, but he seems equally happy to play with the chaos of our kids leaping and jumping about!

I am, as always keeping busy with the kids and everything that goes with being a stay at home mommy. I can honestly say I would not trade my job for the world! That is it for us right now. We are looking forward to Valentine's Day Tuesday... Most of all the candy and chocolates!
