Easter 2011

The easter bunny came and visited and the kids had a blast hunting for eggs,and checking out all the little easter goodies they got! Every year the boys run to the bannister to see if the bunny forgot to wipe his feet (And he always seems to forget!) And then they yell out "THE EASTER BUNNY GOT US!" Dakota says he does more work then santa because we don't leave out treats for him and he has baskets and eggs to hide. We had a nice relaxing morning of egg hunting,easter bingo,and cartoons. Now it is time to wind down and get them into school mode. Happy Easter everyone!

Got mold?

I got a new candy mold sometime last fall and completely forgot I had it until I was cleaning cubbords today! So naturally I took it for a test spin. I made the boys the same Easter bunny as last year, and made this butterfly one for Becca.

We've got hail

This is a closeup of the drain in our front garden bed. It was overwhelmwed with hail.

This past Saturday we had one of the most insane storms pass through. We got hail, which is not odd for spring. But we normally get BB sized hail. What rained down with fury from the sky was the size of a golf ball on the small end. And about the size of a baseball at the larger end. It was MAD! Lucky our home and cars made it out safe for the most part. just a few small dents in the cars. It was really a sight to see.

Easter's on it's way...

I need to get the kids to all calm down long enough to get pictures. Good luck with that. But in the meantime, here is Rebecca, playing with some easter eggs...

Today is out 5th anniversary. Wow that flew by fast! I can still remember us saying our "I do's" on the beach with our friends and family. Fuad is my best friend, and we are a great team. I know we will have countless more fun times along the way!
